Purest Omega's is a highly potent, non-GMO fish oil, containing an impressive 1000mg Omega-3 Oils (EPA, DHA, DPA and other omega-3’s) per soft gel, making it an ideal choice for therapeutic dosage. It contains the triglyceride (TG) form of omega 3 for superior absorption and bioavailability.
Purest Omega is made from wild Alaskan fish caught in the clean, cold waters of Alaska’s North Pacific Ocean and then molecularly distilled to concentrate the omega-3s.
Wild Alaskan fish are naturally high in omega-3 fatty acids and naturally free of mercury. This is because they swim freely in the deep and pristine waters of Alaska. They are harvested in well managed and certified wild fish fishery to sustainable best practice.
The Omega fatty acids in fish offer amazing health benefits, from helping to support and maintain healthy bones and joints, vision, the immune system, mood and most of all, the heart and cardiovascular system.
But not all fish or fish oils are created equal. The type and quality of fish, where it comes from, how the oil is extracted and its final form are all essential to maximizing the nutrients that provide those benefits. Purest Omega is made from wild-caught Alaskan Fish found in the clean waters of Alaska where they have lived wild enjoying a pure and clean environment where they eat a natural diet. Purest Omega provides a rich supply of EPA and DHA with a highly bio-available content of 400mg of EPA and 300mg of DHA per capsule in their natural form.
In developing Purest Omega, Coyne Healthcare collaborated with a world leading authority and expert in Omega 3 production, who not only produces a market leading oil but takes care of the environment whilst doing so. They wanted a supplement you could trust in purity, that delivered in efficacy, was unadulterated, and that they felt good about taking every day and sharing with you.
About the fish
Purest Omega fish oil is sourced from wild Pollock in the Bering Sea, which has an extremely low bycatch rate of less than 1%, compared to the US national averages of 17-22% determined by NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). This means that Civic Nutrition set out to minimize wasteful fishing from the very start of manufacturing, resulting in a smaller carbon footprint and less disruption to the ocean’s ecosystem.

The source of Purest Omega is certified sustainable and traceable by the MSC (Marine Stewardship Council). The MSC certifies their fish at the level of raw ingredient sourcing and manufacturing to assure that our fish oils is sustainable and traceable back to the fishery. This means that the PUREST OMEGAS 3 fish oil has a point of certification to help assure its quality and that it is made from 100% wild Pollock oil.
Wild Pollock is managed tightly through the US government and State of Alaska to ensure the fishery’s health and sustainability. The annual Alaskan Pollock catch ranges from 1 million to 1.4 million tons, which is 50% of the Acceptable Biological Catch (ABC). The monitoring and sustainable fishing practices have shown effective, with a 65% increase in wild Pollock biomass in 2014.
The MSC certification program was rated #1 in a 2012 report by Accenture Development Partnerships, commissioned by the World Wildlife Foundation that assessed seafood sustainability certifications compared to other programs lead by Friend of the Sea, ASMI and Iceland.
Why the triglyceride (TG) form of fish oils?
- Naturally occurring form in foods and in the body
- Research indicates that it is up to 100% more bioavailable than the ethyl ester (EE) form
- Easier to assimilate for individuals with impaired digestion and absorption
- Less prone to oxidation and production of free radicals
- No post digestion production of alcohol in the gut or bloodstream as in the EE form
- Less susceptible to increasing free fatty acids in the blood, which may increase blood glucose

Fish allergy: SOLAL Fish Oil Extract Omega 3 contains omega 3 fatty acids derived from a fish source. SOLAL Fish Oil Extract Omega 3 should be used with caution in individuals with known hypersensitivity to fish and/or shellfish.
LDL levels: Omega 3 fatty acids can increase low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels. LDL levels should be periodically monitored during treatment.
- Side effects may include hypotension, increased LDL, skin rash, gastrointestinal upset, nausea, diarrhoea, reflux, heartburn, indigestion, fishy aftertaste/ eructation, mild elevation of liver function tests, raised liver enzymes (ALT), haematological (bleeding), major depression, bipolar disorder, restlessness.
- SOLAL Fish Oil Extract Omega 3 is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity (e.g. anaphylactic reaction) to fish oil or any of its components.
Anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents: In theory, omega 3 fatty acids may increase the risk of bleeding when taken with medicines and herbal supplements that increase the risk of bleeding. Some examples include aspirin, warfarin, heparin, clopidogrel, NSAIDs, alfalfa, American ginseng, angelica, anise, Arnica montana, asafetida, aspen bark, bilberry, birch, black cohosh, bladderwrack, bogbean, boldo, borage seed oil, bromelain, capsicum, cat's claw, celery, chamomile, chaparral, clove, coleus, cordyceps, danshen, devil's claw, dong quai, evening primrose oil, fenugreek, feverfew, flaxseed/flax powder (not a concern with flaxseed oil), ginger, grapefruit juice, grapeseed, green tea, guggul, gymnestra, horse chestnut, horseradish, licorice root, lovage root, male fern, meadowsweet, nordihydroguairetic acid (NDGA), onion, papain, Panax ginseng, parsley, passionflower, poplar, prickly ash, propolis, quassia, red clover, reishi, Siberian ginseng, rue, sweet birch, sweet clover, turmeric, vitamin E, white willow, wild carrot, wild lettuce, willow, wintergreen, and yucca.
Antihypertensive medication: Based on human studies, omega 3 fatty acids may lower blood pressure and add to the effects of blood pressure lowering medicines, herbs and dietary supplements.
Vitamin E: Fish oils can reduce vitamin E levels. The mechanism could be due to reduced vitamin E absorption or increased vitamin E utilisation by tissues to reduce free radicals and prevent peroxidative damage.
