TLR2
TLR2 encodes a protein that is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family which plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity. It also promotes cell death in response to bacterial lipoproteins and regulates the inflammatory response.
Resveratrol, grape skin polyphenols, and AHCC have been shown to support TLR2 expression.
